Chia Crisps are great on their own, but with a little pizzazz you can turn them into amazing appetizers (like we did here and here). We kicked up our Jalapeño White Cheddar Crisps by turning them into a healthier version of the nacho.
Jalapeño White Cheddar Chia Crisp Nacho Bites
Jalapeño White Cheddar Chia Crisps
Low fat organic refried pinto beans
Grape tomatoes, sliced
Sweet onion, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
Low fat sour cream
Black olive for garnish, sliced
*Note: We did not provide specific measurements because they are so easy. You can make as many or as little as you need. Make it a snack for yourself or a fill up a party tray.
Heat beans on the stove. While they are cooking, toss together avocado, onion, tomato, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Once beans are warm, spoon them onto each chip.
Top with avocado mixture. Add a dollop of sour cream and top with an olive slice.
